As the largest IPO ever, SpaceX remains one of the most debated stocks on Reddit. Micron was the other standout, with MU mentions up 149.7% to 1,915 as the stock climbed 20.2%. Microsoft held near the top at 2,107 mentions, though most of that came from comparison posts and the debate around AI spending.

SpaceX owned the conversation

SPCX mentions more than doubled week over week while the stock rose 3.2%, making it both a scale story and a momentum story.

The Reddit narrative was easy to spot: huge personal bets, posts about SpaceX trading above $220 in overnight action, and repeated market cap comparisons with Microsoft. Headlines around a bond sale of at least $20 billion and a reported $60 billion deal for AI coding agent operator Anysphere added fuel. Sentiment stayed neutral, but the mix of euphoria and top-calling kept SpaceX at the center of every thread.

Micron was the sharper mover

MU trailed SpaceX on total mentions, but its jump was bigger and cleaner: up 149.7% week over week as the stock gained 20.2%.

The catalyst was a narrative shift toward semis and memory as the real winners of the AI buildout. One of the week's biggest posts flagged MU as one of WallStreetBets' strongest performers this year, up 290.28% year to date, while another argued that heavy AI spending at software giants flows straight to chip and memory suppliers. Posts like "When MU going back to $100?" and old MU price memes showed how fast traders were re-anchoring to a higher level. Sentiment was neutral, but the attention was chasing strength.

Microsoft drew attention as the foil

MSFT finished with 2,107 mentions, up 50.3% from the previous week, even as the stock fell 4.3%.

Microsoft was not getting attention for a fresh bullish setup. The biggest posts used it as a measuring stick for SpaceX's surge, with multiple threads focused on SpaceX catching or passing it in market cap. Reddit also debated whether Microsoft's AI spending is delivering enough return, with one widely shared post arguing that capex-heavy software names are funding the next leg higher for semis like Micron. That made Microsoft one of the week's most-mentioned names, but not one of its cleanest narratives.
